121 million rubles will be spent on upgrading lighting in Voronezh
In Voronezh, the program of replacing street lightings with the new LED ones started. By 2021, the city hall plans to have replaced 7,000 lightings on 48 main highways and in city parks and squares. On the eve of the new year 2019,200 new NFK lightings have already been installed in the Plekhanovskaya street
The planned three-year program will annually save up to 2.5 million kW-h of electricity, which will result in considerable savings for the city budget. The cost of upgrading the lighting will amount to 121 million rubles.
- Replacement of lightings in the streets with LED ones is a good example of a prudent approach to public money. The cost of the investment program according to our estimates will be repaid in full within three and a half years - said the mayor of Voronezh, Vadim Kstenin.
